Fostering Together are rated Good by Ofsted!
We are thrilled to announce that after a long wait, we can now make it public that Fostering Together has recently received a Good rating from Ofsted, following a week long inspection in February this year!
For those who may not be familiar with Ofsted inspections, they are designed to ensure that all social care services meet certain standards of quality and safety. These inspections are carried out by trained professionals who evaluate every aspect of a fostering provider's operations, from the training and support offered to foster carers to the quality of care provided to the children we support.
This achievement is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and commitment of our entire team since deciding to make Fostering Together a specialist service supporting children who have complex disabilities in March 2022 and following our previous inspection in 2021.
The report highlights a number of areas in which we excel and it was great to hear in the many ways how foster carers and children talked about how they value the support that they receive from our wider team.
Some extracted quotes from the report:
At Fostering Together, we are committed to providing the highest standards of care and support to all the children we look after. We believe that every child deserves a safe, loving, and nurturing home that understands and is equipped to give them the best opportunities possible, and we work tirelessly to ensure that this is what we deliver. We are proud to say that our Ofsted inspection report reflects our commitment.
We would like to thank all our foster carers, staff, and support workers for their hard work and commitment to providing the best possible care to the children we all have the privilege of supporting. We could not have achieved this result without their support and dedication.
