Making our business COVID-19 secure

Frustratingly but understandably we've unfortunately been a bit delayed in our application due to the COVID-19 crisis as Ofsted redeploys a number of staff around the country to support schools and local authorities in their response.

This means we're able to get a lot more preparation work done... we've been busy writing our policies and procedures, comparing and commissioning secure online technologies to manage data and building our workforce of panel members and assessing social workers which will put us in a fantastic position once we're up and running.

We're following best practice from consultation with others in the sector; we want to make sure our fostering assessments can be done in as safe a way as possible. Our staff have been working form home during lockdown, and we've been planning ways to use technology to ensure people can stay safe in our high-contact sector.

We're looking forward to progressing to the final few stages of our Ofsted application very soon... Watch this space!
