Super Sensory 1k with Ellie Simmonds at Parallel Windsor!

We had our first time at Parallel Windsor's festival of inclusivity and what a fab day it was!

We loved the Super Sensory 1k challenge in the backdrop of Windsor Castle! 🏰

The morning rain couldn't stop our fun as we chatted to families in the local area and those who'd travelled down to this lovely annual event for people of all abilities.🌦😅

There were so many activities to get stuck in, but we were very glad of our famed pink gazebo for those who joined us to take shelter! 🌈⛺️

We want to send a big shout out to Paralympic swimmer, Bake-Off & Strictly Come Dancing star, as well as children’s author Ellie Simmonds (OBE), who we bumped into at Parallel Windsor. Ellie was there doing a live reading of her new entry in the Ellie's Magical Bakery series! 🏅 🍰 💃 📖 

Ellie, who grew up in the care system before being adopted, was very much supportive of the Fostering Together values and what our community do! 🫶 Ellie would like to encourage people who have thought about fostering to come forward! She's a fantastic advocate as well as role model to children who are care-experienced and it was lovely to connect. 🤩
