🐾 SENDfest 2026 at Banham Zoo

We enjoyed a fantastic weekend at SENDfest 2026, hosted by the Norfolk and Suffolk Music Hub at the incredible new venue, Banham Zoo 🐾🌿

The event took place in brilliant weather and brought together families, children and young people from across the SEND community for a truly inclusive and welcoming day out. 💚

We were proud to attend once again alongside the Norfolk & Suffolk Music Hub, supporting the event with our accessible Changing Places facility, Lulu, helping ensure that disabled attendees and those with personal care needs were able to fully enjoy the day with dignity and comfort. ♿️💙

It was wonderful to see so many families making the most of the activities, music and experiences on offer in such a vibrant and supportive setting.

A very special highlight for many attendees was the surprise appearance of Aston Merrygold from JLS, who joined the event alongside live Makaton and BSL signers, creating an unforgettable moment of inclusion and celebration. 😍🎶💫

At Fostering Together, we are committed to supporting events like SENDfest by helping to improve accessibility wherever we can. This includes providing practical support such as accessible facilities like Lulu, as well as working alongside organisers and partners to ensure that children, young people and families with additional needs can take part fully in community events without barriers. ♿️💛
